Every company that receives many orders from its customers can significantly accelerate and automate this process. Thanks to the use of the ABBYY FlexiCapture platform, which is used to intelligently search for data in any type of document, the system automatically captures it and then sends it to any system, e.g. ERP.

After analysing the client’s needs, we determine the extent of data that can be automatically acquired by the system. Sample fields/data recognised by the system include the following:

  • Particulars of business partners
  • Ordered products and their quantities
  • Currency
  • Amount
  • Order number
  • Prices
  • Delivery date.

The solution can support any range of fields. It all depends on the client's needs.

Automatic data collection from documents is possible thanks to the preparation of intelligent recognition layouts (so-called Flexi Layouts), which contain fields previously agreed with the client. Additionally, during the creation of the layouts, the system can learn using the AutoLearning mechanism based on artificial neural networks and machine learning to improve its performance with each subsequent document processed.

After the implementation of the system, the employees so far responsible for the processes (most often manually entering data into the system) focus only on verifying that all data and items from the orders have been correctly acquired from the documents before sending them to the ERP system.
