Many business processes involve the need to manually enter data from various types of insurance policies – from vehicle to property. By using Content Intelligence (OCR) technology, the system reading the data from insurance policies can fully automate policy processing and streamline the operating activities.
The solution is based on the ABBYY FlexiCapture engine, which can create flexible layouts for data identification. The system also uses advanced AutoLearning technologies based on artificial neural networks and machine learning. The solution was developed to enable integration with existing databases and validation of selected fields. All this means that the system for reading data from insurance policies can very effectively read data from documents issued by any insurance company.
During the analytical stage, the client has to work with the Foresight consultant to define the components most important to the project, e.g.:
- Supported policy types
- Set of fields to be read from the policies
- Import and export method suitable for the systems used by the client
- Required validation and integration to significantly improve the efficiency of the entire process.
